I think this is fine, because it seems like it does the same thing in either
case, but why reverse the order?

In fact, the whole method seems strange. It has three separate tests, all of
which do the same thing. I hope it's just generated code and we don't care.

yep. generated code, the generator is unstable, and we don't care.
