It just came to my mind that we should strip unnecessary query params when
opening toolbox. For example, passing the same "settings" param will undo all
the changes to those settings made in the main window.

Perhaps, we can whitelist query params for an app?

That is a very good idea! Let's see how our apps progress and decide on whether
it is worth solving this in general.
