I don't quite understand where access is more appropriate than permission, what
was the reason? I see you've already talked to UX about it though so don't want
to block :)

Yeah I was wondering that too. It is kind of strange, and might lead to
wierdness in translations. I'll ask the UI string person...

Apparently it was deliberate, to quote srahim@: "Yes, it was deliberate, thanks
for checking. I was trying to keep the word count manageable. Unlike the other
permissions, the concept of "sharing location" is important here."
