I think we need to run line 357 - 366 in oilpan as well.

We shouldn't. This is another case where the current code is unsafe because we
do not visit the entire tree. However, once we visit the tree, those lines are
not necessary. They are there to unlink the entire tree and clear out pointers.
Once the pointers are strong we don't have to do that. I'll get right on the
visiting of the entire tree structure.
