I think we need to give each test in this file more descriptive names than
"idle", "running", etc.

Thanks for changing the assert_approx_equals calls to assert_times_equal.
Perhaps the assert_equals calls that test time values should also use
assert_times_equal; what do you think? Can you load the tests in Firefox to see
if the ones we're asserting are exactly equal show up as equal there too?
