drop 'orphan' property, since it's for paged media and we don't support paged media any more

A little more change description please. Someone with less context ought to be
able to make sense of why this is the right change (e.g. something simple like,
"it doesn't do anything anymore" or "This is something we'll want to support in
the future with the custom frobinator API" or "This feature doesn't justify the
complexity of baking it into the platform"). I'm not sure in this case which of
those apply.

We should either update the size or delete the assert. Updating the size isn't
that hard. Lets just do that.

When I asked Eric about it he said to just comment out the assert for now. :-)

I fixed the size. I had to reorder some members and thus fix the constructors as
well. I think the "same-size" struct was broken and only worked out of luck,
previously. Also I'm pretty sure that this only works on 64-bit machines at the
moment.
