While I have your attention, a couple questions about instant BTW:

- Is it enabled on Android?
- How about instant extended?

Thank you for the cleanup. I was never a fan of this cache, and it's something
we need to
delete, but moving it to a more limited scope is fine.

The old visible "instant" (search as you type in chrome) is unlaunched.
What remains are several features supported by a common "instant extended" aka
"embedded search" api:
- omnibox shows query on results pages
- (invisible) search result prefetch
- server-provided new tab page content

kmadhusu@ has the best knowledge of where these are all at. iirc, query in
omnibox
is enabled on Android and there have been experiments for prefetch.
