gpylint actually lists a fair amount of issues with this file. Not sure if we
want to fix them in this CL?

For example:
W0611: 19: Unused import platform [unused-import]
W0611: 20: Unused import re [unused-import]
W0611: 22: Unused import subprocess [unused-import]
W0611: 24: Unused import time [unused-import]
C6204: 33: Import not at top of file [g-import-not-at-top]

LGTM as far as it goes, but since this seems to be a clean-up CL with no
functional changes, it does seem like a good opportunity to make the file
lint-safe. What was the rationale for this change that wouldn't also include
lint cleanup?
