Thanks.  Despite the more verbose syntax to access the parameters, I think it's
now much clearer to understand that different parameters are relevant in
particular phases of the navigation timeline.

Reading through other files, the "Core" prefix doesn't seem quite right. I don't
a have a really good replacement. Do you think "Common" would work better?

tried to follow it as much as I can and it mostly results in better comments.
