DBQ: what's w/ all the packages dirs? Are we using .packages files?

Could these just be cleaned up with `git clean -fdx`? (Don't run that directly,
btw – try `git clean -ndx` first to see what would be nuked...)

I wish I knew the answer to that.  I don't know what triggers IntelliJ to
rewrite these .iml files, nor why it includes the lines that it does.

I've now run `git clean -fdx`, so if there were leftover files on my machine
that were causing these lines to get added, it hopefully won't happen again.

When I run IntelliJ it now *removes* all of the lines referencing packages
folders. Different versions of IntelliJ behave differently.
