We could put in more flags, to distinguish between the case when patched_sdk is
present and absent, but since this is a temporary situation, I think it isn't
needed.

Just skip them for --use-sdk. I'm very surprised that you're suggesting to add
"Pass, Fail" to a test. Clearly we need to have an urgent conversations on the
team about what gardening is and what is an appropriate way to make our bots
green.
