We will need to pass the tree-scope on to StyleEngine to add it to the
collection of dirty tree-scopes. Did you mean:

  node->treeScope().setNeedsActiveStyleUpdate()

and then

  TreeScope::setNeedsActiveStyleUpdate() {
    rootNode().document().styleEngine().setNeedsActiveStyleUpdate(*this);
  }
