+- Install nodejs and npm
+ sudo apt-get install nodejs
+ sudo apt-get install npm
+- Install grunt http://gruntjs.com/getting-started

+- Change to the shadow_dom tool directory
+ cd pkg/shadow_dom/tool
+
+- Install project dependencies
+ npm install
+
+- Run grunt to generate the shadow_dom packages in pkg/shadow_dom/lib
+ grunt
+
