Can you reuse the |result| branch here, instead of adding a separate |impl|
branch?
(I think you just need to change |impl| to |result| in constructor macros
below.)
Even if not, could you move this branch down (below void) so analogy with
impl/result is closer?

I've moved it down a bit. There is a mismatch between (local) names and their
mapped types here to prevent your suggestion from immediately being applicable.
I don't see significant value in trying to make the 'result' disjuntion even
longer and sharing one line of code.
