I don't think this is right - it looks like we do absolutify windows paths and
error out on posix.  We could probably tweak posix to handle relative, too, but
I think right now the documentation is accurate.

in nativeMessaging, the requirement for absolute and relative paths were
exchanged. As seen in the given example of a native messaging host, and
the source code referenced next, only in Windows the paths must be
absolute. On other platforms it may be relative.
