Do you intend to land this permanently?

I intend to have this as long as both the old supersampling algorithm and my new
algorithm coexist, so I can switch between them easily in the SampleApp. If we
can completely replace supersampling algorithm, then I'll drop this.

Considering our current performance (2.8 - 0.9x speedup), do you want to turn it
on by default?
