@michaelpg: I could not find any references to an "item-icon" property for
<iron-icon>. I think this has been mostly copy-pasted erroneously from
https://elements.polymer-project.org/elements/paper-item?active=paper-icon-item,
where |item-icon| is used in the example. See
https://codereview.chromium.org/1428313002 where |icon-item| was introduced for
site_details_permission.html.

I don't see a point of using |item-icon| in this case.
