I tried patching in this change and running the analyzer tests, and I'm seeing a
lot of warnings that look like this:

WARNING|STATIC_TYPE_WARNING|UNDEFINED_METHOD|/Users/paulberry/dart-new/sdk/third_party/pkg/watcher/lib/src/utils.dart|39|29|5|The
method 'typed' is not defined for the class 'DelegatingFuture<T>'.

It looks like you may also need to pull in a newer version of the "async"
library.

Note: you can run the analyzer tests like this:
python tools/test.py -mrelease -cdart2analyzer -rnone
