Bumped version of SDK – assuming that the version of the service protocol will
not drop below 3.4

This isn't really a good reason to change existing code outside of the scope of
the current CL. It also creates a precedent that this needs to continue to be
updated every time we bump the SDK version. Just leave it as it was.
