Yep, that worked.  Annoying that we can't do it the other way - especially when
other things declared like that (Sidebar, SidebarListDelegate, everything) work
just fine.  Any idea why?

i think it's a long-standing bug in the old closure typing system

--new_type_inf seems to help fix this, I think? but it previously had other
problems, iirc.
