Is interfaces.d a standard thing? I thought it was google-specific. If
google-specific, we probably need to fall back to the old behavior if the
directory doesn't exist. Or else, maybe check if /etc/network/interfaces import
interfaces.d, and if not, import it.

Good point about hosts without Google-specific setup.

This version creates /etc/network/interfaces.d and sources the config files
there. (Thanks for that suggestion.)
