LGTM, but we need other review. Since you've nicely ported this to ARM do you
mind also adding a64, which has the same problem?

Also, it is probably worth adding to the issue that this is for debug builds
only, and for me, the failure is with gcc 4.6.3 on ubuntu. The corresponding
MIPS build also fails with 4.7.2 cross-gcc.

I'm adding a couple reviewers who are often late-nighters, and one of the arm
folks ;-)
