There are some choices made here about how to deal with
stub applications that only plan for one client connection. Changes will need to
be made to support the correct connection model. But I think this simplifies and
unifies our approach.

hmm, it'd be nice if GetShell() could just be shell(). Maybe they both can.

perhaps the RemotePtr<Shell> instance that lives on Application should just be a
member of ServiceFactoryBase::Owner. there's no real need for a virtual function
to access shell_.
