While I don't care to do it this way, the alternative of setting the channel in
CrashHandlerHostLinux does not work because calling chrome::GetChannelString()
there is a layering violation.

The Linux impl of chrome::GetChannelString() actually gets the channel from the
environment, so if this was desktop Linux only, we won't need this plumbing.
However, the ChromeOS impl of chrome::GetChannelString() reads the data from
disk, so I'd rather do this plumbing on Linux and ChromeOS than to write two
different impls.
