Derek, is this what you had in mind for a separate target?

We should probably also have build defines to exclude raw_codec in order to
build without exceptions.

We ought to start building libjpeg-turbo as a shared library instead of a static
library if we are going to use it in two places.

I *think* this is as simple as a one line change in gyp/libjpeg-turbo.gyp.

What are your thoughts behind that?

I mean if we build the libjpeg-turbo as a shared library then we might end up
increasing the final binary size.
As long as codec, raw_codec and libjpeg-turbo are all static we should be fine.
(Or do I have a fallacy?)
