Unfortunately this has broken the WebView build downstream in Android. Android
rely on checking the generated makefiles into the tree once they are generated,
and so constructing absolute paths at gyp time results in the makefiles being
unusable on any other machine.

Can this be done without an absolute path? If not then this might need to be
special cased for the WebView build somehow.. :(
