We'll probably want to turn this into an iterator but this is fine for now.

But we also want to access individual attributes:
element.Attributes()["attribute_name"].

Right, the problem is that making this a map requires us to make copies of all
the attributes. With the iterator the user can make their own maps (or we could
have a helper for that).

Anyway, let's leave this as is for now.
