The API doesn't have to know about how the data gets in the buffer, it only
cares about the fact that "the latest Device Motion data will be stored in the
passed object."

In the previous patch set I suggested renaming this to "latestDeviceMotionData",
which you agreed on, but you didn't change it. Is that intentional?
