nit: \_ is unnecessary in most of cases. Markdown does treat it as 'make it
italic' when it is between alphanums like foo_bar

I think Python's markdown does this, but I feel like I've seen Gitiles *not* do
this by default. That said, I'll make your changes and we can see :).

+This is a simple tool to render the markdown docs in a chromium checkout
+locally. It is written in Python and uses the Python 'markdown' package,

+md\_browser attempts to emulate the flavor of Markdown implemented by
