What kind of symlinks does this detect? For what it's worth, pub uses NTFS
junction points for "symlinks" on Windows.

The Windows implementation will report all types of rewrite points as links,
including junction points and symbolic links.  We may need to add extra code if
we want to avoid reporting mount points of shares as links.

On Linux and Mac, this detects symbolic links, but not hard links (since hard
links are identical to normal files and directories).
