I think this comment needs a bit of rephrasing to match the current code: 
-Remove the (eg...) from above.
-After should get called: This is the case if the renderer is not live, or if
the navigation is synchronous... 
-No need to mention that it can be sent directly to the current renderer, but
the part in parenthesis is important.
