I don't often see the use of namespace test, are you copying this from
somewhere?

All the other test_* files in this package use this idiom. Just trying to blend

no worries. I'm not necessarily claiming it as best practices. :-) I think it's
fine to have this convention in this module, but I don't think it is uniform...
