":" vs "." usage in combination with Overridden seem split about 50/50 in ash
and significantly in favor of ":" throughout all of chromium (~1100 vs ~400).
I'm making wm component consistently use ":" unless there's a good reason we
should be using "." instead?

yea, think I had a "." somewhere but it should now be consistent.
