I used to like that this was a very simple config, though. Would moving to
compact_vm_config do what you want instead?

just to make sure, this is not affecting compact_vm_config, right? (we override

It's still pretty simple :-) Originally I felt the same way but I suspect
vm_config gets used a lot more than compact_vm_config, so there is some merit to
doing it in vm_config.

No, because that overrides onSummary it will bypass all this and should still
work.

Have you tried this in other terminal emulators? Does it work on windows, rxvt,
etc?
