[Mac] Show the edit profile link after a dwell delay so that it doesn't flicker when scrubbing.

TEST=Quickly mouse through the avatar menu. The edit link doesn't flicker.

I'd rather not, but I'd also like to fix this, so... I've now made the VC an
NSAnimationDelegate and things look pretty good on Lion and SnowLo. Thoughts?
