maybe you could add some helpful comments here, giving people guidance on how
they could add additional targets here to make this more useful to them?

I can do that. I was also thinking, to make it more general, name this file
'build/some.gyp' and comment out the chrome dependency so that it doesn't slow
down runhooks for people not using it.
