I like the basic behavior, but I found the words/links a bit confusing.

Instead of a "Link to sample" link, how about making the title's link change to
link to itself (as in Blogger posts). Then you could add a "Browse source" link
that links to the source browser.

It'd be something like this:

<a href="#1234982734">Sample Name</a>
...
Browse source      Download .zip

(maybe Download .zip -> Download source?)

I've changed the UI to match your description.  I agree that it works a bit
better this way.
